ABRI is a project of 33 HKU Graphic Design students who have done research in the theme of tourism in the recent months. A theme unexpectedly tilted by the Corona virus; what is the significance of tourism in a situation where everyone may be expected to stay at home? When exhibiting the results in the @ag.hku proved impossible, we found an alternative in creating a magazine + website.
Together with Esmee Jakubowski, Aïsha Kanters and Juul van der Zandt we emboddied these 33 individual projects into a magazine. Working closely together with the Identity team we took multiple decisions into consideration. The end product consist of a strong cover with flaps that provide essential information about the projects and the participants. Inside the magazine you’ll find 8 random posters about the individual projects. Showing a 50cm x 70cm poster on the front side and further project information and process on the backside.
